Heads Will Roll Variant Rules
Longer Game
Play that you must hit 21 points exactly. Any player that goes over 21 points busts and goes back to 11 points.

Shorter Game
Play to 11 points.

Newer, Younger, or Less Dexterous Players
You can choose to allow a player to place their Shield down wherever they want for their first flick rather than rolling it with the rest of the pieces.

Variants with Additional Pieces
Poison
Add the gold Skulls to the set of pieces to roll out. Gold Skulls are worth 3 points and silver Skulls are worth 2 points, but copper Skulls are worth -2 points. Points are still doubled if the Skulls are of matching orientation (gold +6, silver +4, copper -4).

Poison+
Add the gold and charcoal Skulls to the set of pieces to roll out. Gold skulls are worth 3 points and silver Skulls are worth 2 points, but copper Skulls are worth -2 points and charcoal Skulls are worth -1 point. Points are still doubled if the Skulls are of matching orientation (gold +6, silver +4, copper -4, charcoal -2).

Extra Shield
Add the extra Shield to the set of pieces to roll out. You begin your turn with one Flick per Shield (2 Flicks), but do NOT gain additional Flicks from passing through pairs of Skulls.

Mini Golf
Roll out all of the pieces. Everyone will play using the same roll so use something to mark where the Shield starts.

Your goal is to pass through each pair of Skulls and hit the Treasure Chest in as few Flicks as possible. You do not earn additional Flicks and do not run out of Flicks. If any piece leaves the play area, return them to their position before they left, and add 1 penalty Flick to that player’s total.

Track total Flicks rather than points earned. Fewest total Flicks at the end of 9 rounds wins.

SKULL
Your goal is to be the last player standing after everyone else has spelled S-K-U-L-L.

On your turn, skip rolling out the pieces. Instead, select as many pieces as you like, lay out a trick shot (or just a really hard one) that ends with you hitting the Treasure Chest, and attempt the shot. This shot may be a single flick, or you can set it up such that you use multiple flicks. If you use multiple flicks, each one must pass through at least one set of Skulls. Players following such a multipart shot must go through the pairs in whatever order you established, but don’t need to follow the exact path/locations perfectly.

If you make the shot, everyone else must attempt to repeat it and anyone who fails to match your shot gains a letter. If you miss the shot, or after everyone else has a chance to attempt the shot, play passes to the left.

When gaining letters, gain the first letter in S-K-U-L-L that you do not already have. Track the letters in your head until you have spelled S-K-U-L-L. Once you have all the letters, you are out. Last player standing wins.
